The Minecraft of Moria

A new world approaches ...

This is a natural formation that I found after spawning in the desert next to a village (woo!) and walking just a wee bit until I hit Ridiculous Mountains(TM).  Naturally I delved into its side and started to hollow it out. Currently there is a water-level dock, a slightly higher main chamber with the bridge heading to the left (at some point a powered railway to the village for farm supplies); the main chamber has a shaft to the main quarry which has hit one interesting cave system and an underground ravine, and leads all the way to the top as well. Near the top there's a relaxation chamber (bed, bookcases, couch and chair) and at the top a small observation bubble. I tried to keep to the natural shape, but in some cases smoothed things out or added overhangs to reduce spawning on the outside of the tower.

I briefly thought about exposing the ravine to light, but it'd have to be a longer term project. It's probably ~20 deep and that's a lot to dig across an entire ravine length and width.
